{You whack 'em, we pack 'em.}

Ah, so you've made it! Bonjour, bonsoir, bienvenue! I'm so glad that you could come!

Please, allow me to introduce myself. I am Carlotta de Bois-Guilbert, Section One's Cemetery Caretaker, Keeper of Nikita's Grave: Row 8, Plot 30, Founder of The Society of Mentally Unstable Operatives, Level 6 Operative under the direction of Housekeeping, and a variety of other, mostly unmentionable, things.

I am also the creator and maintainer of this "La Femme Nikita" fan web site, so if you come across any broken links, missing images, misspelled words, et cetera, or if you find that you have a complaint of some kind during your visit, I'd be much obliged if you would take the trouble to notify me. After all, with Housekeeping forever breathing down my neck, I could really use all the help that I can get!

Now, this isn't the cemetery, not yet. You'll find a link to that below, as well as descriptions of all of ACA's features. This is just one of the entrances, the gateways, if you will, into the site.

And the site? Well, it is completely devoted to our own dear Nikita. ... And the world (or television series, if you prefer) that she inhabits.

So strap on your battle gear (because it sure is chilly in these vaults), light a few candles (due to budgetary cutbacks we haven't been able to pay the light bill in a while), thumb your nose at the Section (hey, they can't see you in the dark anyway), and prepare to enter a world not so unlike our own - where danger is eminent and unrelenting; hope burns brightly, but is fleeting; and where the only thing that stands between the continuing existence and humanity of a planet is a lone anti terrorist group, which, over time, has become pretty difficult to distinguish from the enemy it struggles to defeat...

But, hey, it's all just shades of gray... Right?

Despite its funereal theme,
this site is just a strange little shrine
to one of the most brilliant television series in recent years,
and while it is true that "La Femme Nikita" has been canceled,
this site was never intended to be a tribute to the show's passing,
but rather to its everlasting greatness.

Basically, this is a place you can visit to listen to select songs that have been played on La Femme Nikita, but were not included on the official soundtrack album, like "Standing Around Crying" by Big Sugar, "Jersey Girl" by Holly Cole, "Is Jesus Your Pal?" by Gus Gus, and more. The tracks are full-length, good-quality, streaming RealMedia files, presented as though they were a part of a real soundtrack album, complete with cover art and liner notes. Links to purchasing information for all of the featured artists has been provided, as well, so if you hear something that you like, please consider buying it and supporting the talented people who provide us with their art. Includes the LFN Album Review, an impromptu article drawn up by yours truly at 3 a.m. one night/morning.

Herein you shall find an international schedule of La Femme Nikita episodes, movies featuring the stars of the series, online events (like chats with the members of the cast and web site contests) and real life happenings (like fan conventions) related to LFN. Also, discover when and where La Femme Nikita is broadcast worldwide, with a guide to international airing information, and a form to add/update your local schedule. Plus, a recording of the original airing dates, production numbers and order of La Femme Nikita episodes for the US and Canada.

An organized, comprehensive, frequently updated and verified listing of sites and pages on the World Wide Web devoted to the show. Major categories include: The Main Attractions; Characters, Cast & Crew; Online Resources; et cetera. Sub-categories include: Multimedia Sites; Fan Fiction Archives; Humor Sites; Episode Listings/Guides; et cetera.

Take your place in the global fan base! Share your opinions, ask your questions, and get to know tons of other viewers from all over the world. A selection of DVDs, CDs, and books related to the series.

In this section of the site you'll find the basis for Acceptable Collateral Acres, as well as the "Row 8, Plot 30" essay that originally was the only excuse for the existence of this entire web site.

Essays that attempt to study those who have been forced to serve Section One against their will. Currently available character summaries include "Notre Cher Birkoff" and "Peta Wilson as Nikita." Two additional pieces, "Burning" and "Mercy's Eyes," center on the tag scenes of the pilot episode ("Nikita") and the first season finale ("Mercy"), respectively, and how they relate to one another and comment on Nikita's emotional state upon beginning, in earnest, her career at Section, and then her eventual escape from Section.

A collection of pictures, wallpaper and web pages related to the show and created for artistic amusement.

Serialized novels, short stories and poetry written by fans. Featuring the Kala Konane series by Del, the novel Ghosts by Deborah June Laymon, the touching Birkoff shorts Seek & Destroy and Adia by Spider, plus the heart-wrenching Spilled Milk by Wrigley, and selected poems by Sapphire Dove.

Out of Order:

Rumors, episode spoilers, general information, magazine appearance alerts, nominations and awards. You know, all the goodies.

Scanned photographs of the stars of "La Femme Nikita" from 8x10, 10x8, and 4x6 glossies, as well as magazine advertisements and articles, and the soundtrack album cover.

An unofficial online fan club, where insanity and inanity are a way of life. Use our handy application form to apply for membership, or browse through our member files and find out just what kind of people the mentally unstable of Section One are. Includes the home page of The Society's Web Ring, and a tribute to the original MUO, Karyn.
